Mental Ray Render Setting in MAYA

2 Type of Saving Images in MAYA

Something weird happened after I saved my images from MAYA

At first after I saving, the image became darker than the same image in MAYA render view.
As the Type2 in the below image.

So how can I get the same color as the render view image?
Just check it out in my second picture.
Open the Save Image Option in render view, there are 2 type of saving styles.

By the way, if you use Batch setting and don't want to get a darken image after saving, you need to change your value in the Render Setting. As the image below.

Gamma Correct in MAYA

1. Create a gamma correct, then change its 3 values to 0.455.

2. Middle mouse drag image to gamma correct. Connect to Value

3. Then, connect gamma correct to Shader ball's color or diffuse

BE CAREFUL: DON'T USE GAMMA CORRECT IN  NORMAL MAP, BUMP MAP AND SPE MAP.

Bump map+Normal map in MAYA

Following the steps below to apply bump map and normal map in MAYA at the same time:

1.Creating a new bump map(used bump map as its image).

2.Breaking the bump map connection, and creating a new bump map(used ur normal map as image)
Breaking the new bump map then.

3. Reconnecting the first bump map

4. Use Middle mouse drag the normal map to bump map. Chose right display--->show hidden in the connection editor dialog

5. Connecting outNormal to normal camera.

6. Last step, change normal map bump from bump to Tangent Space Normals.
